{"id":53,"date":"2007-02-25T23:07:53","date_gmt":"2007-02-26T05:07:53","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/idubbs.com\/blog\/?p=53"},"modified":"2007-02-25T23:07:53","modified_gmt":"2007-02-26T05:07:53","slug":"ms-office-sharepoint-server-2007-a-content-management-solution-presentation","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.idubbs.com\/blog\/2007\/ms-office-sharepoint-server-2007-a-content-management-solution-presentation\/","title":{"rendered":"MS Office SharePoint Server 2007: A Content Management Solution (presentation)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A few weeks ago, Inetium was asked if we had interest in speaking at a local ECM user group (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.aiim.org\/chapters\/minnesota.asp?ID=26367\">AIIM<\/a>) on SharePoint.\u00a0 I was lucky enough to get the assignment, so I went down to the St. Paul Campus of the U\u00a0of M and gave\u00a0our SharePoint 2007 overview presentation, with some emphasis on the ECM features and functionality.\u00a0 Apparently this group usually has around 20-30 people in attendance at their meetings, but he subject matter was interesting enough\u00a0to draw\u00a0over 60 paid attendees\u00a0that night!\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The presentation was very well received.\u00a0 We went longer that the meeting usually goes, but after we paused for a few minutes to honor our original time estimate and allow people to escape, we had about half of the group stick around for the last dozen or so slides and Q&amp;A.\u00a0 After the meeting, we were also invited to present at a local conference that AIIM and another local organization &#8211;
